A new window installation can give your Cotati property a stunning new look. You can even get the job done without incurring the high cost of a significant renovation job if you choose an experienced contractor like Bay Area Siding.

Amplify Energy Efficiency

As an experienced contractor in the home improvement industry, let us tell you something. One of your home's main heat gain and loss sources is its windows. Compared to single-pane or older windows placed in the past, Anlin windows are more energy efficient. Improved insulation from replacement windows keeps the cooling and heating inside, lowering your utility costs.

Ensure Comfort and Safety

Comfort and security are guaranteed by replacement windows. Better-insulated windows can lessen outside noise while keeping warm and cold air inside your house. Compared to single-pane windows, Anlin windows with the Sound Package significantly reduce outside noise (up to 50%).

In addition to that, every household and homeowner values safety and security. Your Cotati home's security can be improved by installing new windows. Anlin Windows offers tempered glass, which lowers the risk of damage if the glass is unintentionally broken, as well as laminated safety glass for prevention against break-ins.

Anlin Windows Types

Anlin QuadraTherm Dual Pane Insulation

With the durability and performance of triple-glazed windows at dual-glazed prices, the Dual Pane Insulation System delivers the best value. Your Cotati home will remain warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer when you use the revolutionary 14-layer solar reflecting coating. The revolutionary multi-layer thermal insulation coating prevents your Cotati home's inside heat from escaping through the window when it's cold outside.

And here's something no other contractor will tell you: Many people believe dual-glazed windows are not as good as triple-glazed ones. In actuality, triple-glazed units contain twice as many seals as dual-glazed ones, which reduces the likelihood of failure by half in dual-glazed windows.

INFINIT-e Plus High-Performance Coating

Increases energy conservation by offering the market the most cutting-edge and effective foam filler. The tri-layered silver metal coating also blocks 95% of UV rays while retaining heat. The area between the glass panes is then filled with water, forming a very efficient thermal barrier. Additionally, the practical Easy Plus coating also makes maintaining and cleaning your windows a breeze.

About Cotati, CA

Cotati, CA, is an incorporated city in Sonoma County, California, about 45 miles north of San Francisco, along the 101 corridors between Rohnert Park and Petaluma. Cotati had a population of 7,584 as of the 2020 Census, making it the smallest incorporated community in Sonoma County.

Cotati, CA, like the rest of Sonoma County, is part of both the San Francisco Bay Area and the North Coast. Cotati, CA, located in the Sonoma Coast AVA, is also part of Wine Country. In the hills west of town, E & J Gallo Winery has a 400-acre vineyard called Two Rock Vineyard. Cotati's hexagonal downtown plaza is a California Historical Landmark and one of only two hexagonal town layouts in the United States. Detroit, Michigan, is the other city in the United States with a hexagonal layout.

Since at least 2000 BC, the Coast Miwok civilization has thrived in the Cotati area, with main villages built near major streams. Lumen-takala (northeast of present-day Cotati), Payinecha (west of present-day Cotati, CA), and Kotati were among the villages documented in the area. In 1827, John Thomas Reed, an Irishman, ventured into Miwok territory and built a cabin near Crane Creek. He fled south to Mill Valley after the natives burned it down.

In exchange for his service as a soldier under General Vallejo, the Mexican government granted Captain Juan Castaneda, a Mexican military commander from Texas, Rancho Cotate encompassing the present-day towns of Cotati, CA, Penngrove, and Rohnert Park, and home to the Coast Miwok people in July 1844. The grant's name was inspired by Kotati, a Coast Miwok village. However, a legend developed that Rancho Cotate was named after a Pomo chief named Cotati, CA, and the state perpetuated this legend on the historical marker that was installed in the plaza in 1973.

Rancho Cotate was 17,238.6 acres in size. Captain Castaneda relocated to San Francisco and never built Rancho Cotate. He lost control of the rancho after failing to meet the legal requirements of the grant, which passed to Thomas Larkin and then to Joseph Ruckle. Ruckle sold the land for $1,600 to Dr. Thomas Stokes Page, a former resident of Valparaiso, Chile, in 1849. Rancho Cotate was recorded as follows in California state records.

Newton Smyth designed Cotati's hexagonal plaza and street grid plan in the 1890s as an alternative to the traditional grid. The plaza was built on the site of Dr. Thomas Page's barn, and each of the streets surrounding it is named after one of his sons. The Page family established the Cotati, CA, Land Company in 1892 to subdivide their ranch into parcels of five to twenty acres. Good land was selling for $30 to $60 per acre by 1901. The Page family's ownership came to an end in 1944.

On July 2, 1963, less than a year after the incorporation of the lands north of town to form Rohnert Park, voters approved the incorporation of Cotati as a separate city (by a 284-to-41 margin). The city grew quickly after incorporation, thanks in part to its proximity to San Francisco. The population increased by more than a factor of four between 1965 and 2000. Cotati, CA, voters approved a rent control ordinance for all residential rentals in 1979, but that ordinance was partially preempted in 1995 by the passage of AB 1164, also known as the Costa/Hawkins Bill. Cotati was one of five cities in California at the time with "strong rent control" laws that included vacancy control.

To deal with declining revenue, the Cotati, CA, city implemented a series of budget cuts beginning in 2007. The City expected to run out of money in its General Fund within a year as of August 2009. Cotati voters approved Measure A in April 2010, imposing a 0.5% sales tax for five years. They passed Measure G (by a vote of 922 to 808) in June 2014 to raise the city's sales tax by 1%.

The city has a total area of 1.89 square miles, 0.53% of which is water, according to the United States Census Bureau. The Pacific Ocean is about 17 miles away from the city. It is entirely within the Laguna de Santa Rosa drainage basin. Just south of town, the Petaluma River watershed begins. The Stemple Creek watershed is located to the west. All three watercourses originate in the hilly area west of town between Stony Point Road and U.S. 101. just to the west of town in Cotati, CA.

The Cotati Chamber of Commerce is a business organisation that promotes economic prosperity in Cotati, CA, by providing economic development services, business services, and community events. The chamber is a non-profit organisation that is supported by membership fees, fundraising projects, and donations.

The Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District serves the city. Thomas Page Elementary School is the only public school in the city of Cotati. Rancho Cotate High School, located in neighbouring Rohnert Park, is the main high school serving Cotati, CA. Cotati is influenced by Sonoma State University, a public college located about one mile east of the city limits.

Cotati, CA, is served by Golden Gate Transit (routes 72, 75, and 80) and Sonoma County Transit. San Francisco International Airport and Oakland International Airport are the closest major airports. The nearby Santa Rosa airport also provides passenger service. U.S. Route 101 North and State Route 116 West approach Cotati, CA, from the south on a multi-lane freeway alignment known as the Cotati Grade, with exits at Railroad Avenue and West Sierra Avenue. State Route 116 East approaches on the two-lane Gravenstein Highway from the west. U.S. Route 101 South approaches Cotati, CA, from the north as a multi-lane freeway with a single exit at Gravenstein Highway.
